I've made the boeuf bourguignon twice since seeing the film.DELICIOUS!!!!
However, I REALLY wanted to try that chicken, cream, mushrooms and portI snagged the recipe online but never made it. I recently watched the movie again so I might just get around to it in the near future. Oh, and the sole meuniere too, although not with a whole fishjust fillets.

the beef bourginon (sp?) and the raspberry bavarian cream. and the duck in pastry looked interesting, i would give that a try if i saw that on a menu

The bruschetta had me going and was borderline food porn until we had to see Eric munching it down like a dog. I felt cheated, like watching actual porn and just when you're nearly there they cut to closeup of the guys ass. Boo!

It was poulet rti la normande.
The stuffing was chicken livers and cream cheese.

I'm not quite sure, perhaps chicken aux champignon?

I'd say the Beef Bourignon and Raspberry Bavarian Cream.

DEFINITELY the duck. I have made Beef Wellington on a number of occasions (beef in pastry) but I would LOVE to try this.
If the chocolate almond cake was Nora Ephron's own recipe, is it not in the Julie Chilc cookbook? Also, just in case anyone wants to know, there IS an entire section in "The Joy Of Cooking" on cooking game. And by "game" I mean rabbit, squirrel, rattlesnake, etc

I think at least 75% of the people who watched the movie probably made or bought bruschetta within a few days of watching that scene! lol!
I know I promptly went to the store, bought a variety of heirlooms, and made hubby and son very, very happy.

The night that I first saw the movie, I immediately wanted to have the bruschetta. I had that for breakfast the following morning! It was delicious

the raspberry Bavarian cream looks amazing. I bought the book for my mom for mothers day and we plan on making the cream this weekend. However the boeuf bourignon is the one we are all dying to make
