…a well made production
Interesting stories, great cast and the value of production is probably among the best out there right now. Like The Morning Show, Disclaimer and Succession level.
I was quite surprised by it.
It's got all the woke stuff and subverted concepts but they are actually done well. A good story is a good story and the production of it should be treat with respect. This does all of that and does so to the highest degree.
Surprised there isn't another thread in this forum about it. This is the type of show that deserves talking about

It's a matter of knowing, and The Beautiful Lie, whilst cool, requires knowledge of things like The Castle to have any authority upon

It was all in good fun until it wasn’t. 🥲 I like Sarah Snook and she was in Soulmates which reminded me The Beautiful Lie. I have a thing for Aussie and Kiwi programs. It’s an addiction. 😀

I did see The Beautiful Lie but I thought it was a bit too tilted towards the modern idea of what when wrong back then
IT's all about rewriting history when it comes to stories like that

I did see this and The One. I liked them both. Season 2 was cancelled of Soulmates. Interesting concept. All this aside did you see The Beautiful Lie with Sarah Snook? I really liked it. An interesting take on Anna Karenina in the present time.

Clunky cast decisions aside I thought he was quite a good character in The Last Dance. I'm not at all sure as to why his character was needed but it helped add
something
to the movie and was as silly as the whole story was.
The entire trilogy was a mess but I think it at least went out on a comfortable junk movie night out note
