When Mary ties the rope around Dracula's neck and throws herself off the roof, Dracula/Judas is hanging and choking, is it the fact that the sun is coming up that he is getting weak or is the rope choking him, I mean vampires can't really choke can they?

Maybe he was finally accepting his fate. He didn't really die the first time, becoming the undead, but now, he was ready.
So many stories, so little time.

In the context of this film, yes, he CAN choke. Remember, in this story, we are told that, in order to be permanently vanquished, the vampire HAS to die in the manner they originally died. Since THIS version of Dracula is, in actuality, Judas Iscariot (who died by hanging himself,) this is how he HAS to die for his death to be permanent.

This still makes no sense; Dracula was transporting himself all around the whole movie showing up in random places, except for the last scene where it would have saved him.
