I was at the grocery store waiting to pay for my items. I started randomly talking to the cashier as he was ringing up my purchase. I turned to the man waiting behind me and asked him if he would marry me.
He smiled! He agreed. And he looked at the cashier and then at me. He asked us " You mean right here?".
I guess he thought that I might not have been serious or that he was being pranked. I was serious though. I just hadn't thought it out thoroughly.
But hey! I almost got married last year!!
