I swear one of the news reports said the victims were rushed to a hospital, a different one than the one they got shot in ( I may be wrong? )
If true then there must have been a very good reason why they had to take the victims for a drive across town rather than just take them to another floor of the building they were already in….
God could you imagine if it just slipped everyones mind that they were already in a hospital? the EMTs and cops just went right into training mode and loaded the victims up and drove away

They weren't in a hospital when they got shot. Even if they were, they might have needed to go to a trauma center.
