I know the original deviated from the source material, but it was a classic in its own right and it never should be "remade". Even the sequels, or whatever they are, feel like a slap in the face to the original.

Skarsgard is a great actor and I love him but this movie is a travesty of the moody, atmospheric and heartbreaking original.

I think it looks good I don't know why people are hating on it. I don't think the original movie would be held in such high regard if Brandon Lee hadn't died during filming.
