not trained en pointe.<br />
She stated that she "learned how to dance<br />
en pointe<br />
exclusively for this video" because the director wanted her, as<br />

singer, to do it.<br />
I applaud her gumption, but individuals train<br />
consistently<br />
, and<br />
very hard<br />
, usually for<br />
at least nine to ten years before ever being fitted for pointe shoes<br />
.  She's cute as a button and I love her style, and I enjoy the song as well as the vintage vibe here, but I cringe when I see her<br />
en pointe<br />
when there's at least<br />
two<br />
times, she looks like she's about to risk a lateral tear or break a bone in her foot.<br />
She did it, but yeeesh, this was not wise.  Otherwise, it's a cute video.<br />
