There were 5 people in theater besides myself here on opening night.
5 people for a sequel to one of the highest grossing movies of all time.
I never saw the first one but this was a real turkey, with Jason momoa sucking all life out of the movie that never had a bit of personality to begin with. Their attempts at Marvel style humor fall completely flat. Instead of investing so much money they will never recover on special effects they should have shelled out some money into getting a decent script and dialogue writer. I think this movie just reused the same characters and basic plot from the first movie, with a far less than spectacular ending where the villains were defeated with impossibly quick ease. And how stupid did Jason Momoa look in that fake ass body suit? lol it looked like a bad Halloween costume.
I was also really pissed because Michael Keaton was repeatedly listed in the credits online, but did not appear in the movie at all. Seems he originally shot scenes as Batman to appear in this movie, but they were cut. What a ****.
2/10 If the superhero market was already dead, DC just buried the body.

Because I am a movie fan who watches all kinds of movies. I don't follow herd mentality and I don't give a **** if anyone else thinks the movies are trash. It's impossible to judge a movie without seeing it first. You're just talking crazy and trying to come off as pretentious. Fuck right off, ******.

I'm also a movie fan, but I have standards. Just watching stuff to watch stuff is kind of like an addiction.
What I'm saying is that yes, you may be a movie fan, but it might also be more than that and that something more might be the bigger reason you feel compelled to watch movies. Especially in the theater. Perhaps it's related to why we feel compelled to come to this place?
