Perchance to dream is my favorite episode. It just happens to be kevin conroys favorite episode as well.

Mine is Two-Face Parts 1 @ 2 because of his former friendship with Bruce Wayne. I also liked the interpretation of Harvey Dent's repressed dark side because it was psychologically disturbing. Also his coin is the item that Two-Face needs to maintain his double personalities. And without it or when it is on edge, Two-Face is helpless, cant make decisions and doesnt feel "complete". In other words, Two-Face is completely dependent on the coin, because this item serves as a motivation for his actions.
Still i felt he didn't get enough screen time and they never use Two-Face to rob stuff during the day to give to charity because Two-face is suppose to be the lesser of two evils. I mean Batman said he fears Two-Face more then any of his foes and it's something the writers don't seem to acknowledge threw out the years. And he disappears with no mention of his whereabouts in Batman Beyond.

It's mine too. It has my favorite portrayal of Mr. Freeze, and it mixes great story telling with some of the greatest fights and visuals in the entire series.

That was a great one, but "Heart of Ice" gets my vote. I was a Mr. Freeze fan before, but what the writers did for his backstory in that episode was legendary.

My favorite episode is Feat of Clay. It's sad, it's exciting, it's tragic, it's dark, it has the two best interrogation scenes ever, the music that plays when Clayface sees all the roles he's played while Batman tries to convince him he can still play them, and it's just a fantastic episode.

My favorite episode is Over The Edge. My second favorite is Growing Pains.

I'd say my favorites were Growing Pains, Over the Edge (overall more enjoyable than Perchance to a Dream but that one had a better ending, though), Old Wounds, Mad Love, and Legends of the Dark Knight. But I agree that more Dick Sprang material would have been preferable for LDK, since that segment was the best.

Mad Love was my favorite, but You Scratch My Back is a close second. That scene where the crook almost runs into Batman who casually, but conspiciously, doesn't lift a finger to stop him, is priceless. The crook is so shocked, scared and confused, and batman, arms folded across chest and without moving, just radiates pure attitude.
Some of my tastes are different from most, but they are well thought out.
The are however, just OPINIONS, so if you want to insult my mom or call me a Matrix fanboy because you disagree, I won't lose sleep over it.
Legends of the Dark Knight- I was totally disappointed in it. The Sprang part was the best segment. I thought the Miller scene was stiff, with none of the depth Miller's rendition had. The "real" Batman segment was dull, the kids were as annoying as the ones in Ive Got Batman in my Basement. I would have preferred the entire episode being done Sprang style with other villians too, with 50's Penguin or 50's Two-Face showcased.

This episode was hysterical! I watched it going "What the F__K???" over and over again. The character designs are really cool, but it's like Timm and Dini dropped acid and watched Slingblade before writing the plot to that episode! "I'll be taking that thar belt o' yearn" The DVD has a truly hilarious commentary. They simply made fun of it throughout.
Over the Edge- Good premise, flawed execution. I thought having it going on in BATGIRL'S mind was a mistake, since she was supposed to be the dead one. If this was someones worst fear, they should be alive in the hallucination to experience the fear. Telling half the story in flashback was a big mistake too, if someone was in a dream, they wouldn't need the flashback.
Joker's Millions- One that REALLY makes you appreciate just how great a character Harley is. Her replacement is so EASILY what Harley would have been like had someone else done her voice other than Arleen Sorkin.
Compare her few scenes in that episode with the fake Harley, especially when Harley gets the final word in the finale. Harley's early appearences in TAS weren't that different than what Fake Harley says and does in this episode, but Ms. Sorkin brought so much more to the role which is why her character developed the way it did.

While there is definitely something to be said for the Growing Pains, Old Wounds, and Over The Edge episodes (all three tie as my second favorites), I have to go with Legends of the Dark Knight as being my favorite episode of the series, purely because of the Frank Miller, "Dark Knight Returns" part of the episode. and maybe because of the not-so-subtle dig at Joel Schumacher, tee hee.

Clearly, you two don't realize that "Over The Edge" was actually ripped off from a previous episode, "Perchance to Dream," the one where The Mad Hatter hypnotized Batman into thinking his parents wee never killed and someone else was Batman. But it still had a great idea going, and the Scarecrow gas Barbara inhaled did make sense. But what I finf questionable is how Barb knew all this when SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD?!?! Oh well, no biggy really.
Anyway, I'd have to say that MY fave ep of this newer Bat series is "Legends Of The Dark Knight," the one where Three children tell different stories about who and what Batman is. That ep was so cute! One kid's story resembled what Batman (and Robin) was in the 50s and the Adam West days, and was based from the works of Dick Sprang. Batman, Robin, and Joker cracking lame one-liners and puns throughout the fight and such.
The other kid's story (this is my most favorite part of the ep) is a simplified version of the single greatest Bat-tale ever told, "The Dark Knight Returns," by Frank Miller. The whole scene looked as though it was animated by Frank Miller himself it was so amazing. The Bat-Tank, the 80s Batman's fight with the Mutant Leader (great voice works from Michael Ironside and Kevin M. Richardson), even the female Robin was all captured with great accuracy.
And the ending, the fight between Batman and Firefly, was sugifficant. Because it takes the two Batmen from the kid's stories, molds them together and makes Batman into what he is today. I rank "Legends Of The Dark Knight" as the best episode of Gotham Knights. Other great watches are Old Wounds, Never Fear, Growing Pains, and more.
