I ACTUALLY THOUGHT MATTHEW GOODE DID A GOOD JOB IN THE ROLE.NOT A STAND OUT LIKE OTHERS BUT SOLID.THE COSTUME CHANGES MADE SENSE TO ME TOO…EGO AND PARODY COLLIDE HEAD ON.

My experience was pretty much the same. It was much better on second viewing, but I still think Ozymandias was terribly miscast. Everyone else was perfect. I don't know why they got him so wrong.

I was a little anxious before watching it as I really loved the graphic novel, and I'd been disappointed before with graphic novel to film adaptations.

I thought it was way too long, too slow-paced and outright weird.
I don't see it like that anymore.

What did you hate about it at first?

I hated the movie the first time I watched it. Now I really like it and I've watched it several times.
