If Mel Gibson ever directed ANY kind of superhero movie and wasn't messed around with by the studio, it'd probably be among one of the best superhero movies ever.

Gibson has actually expressed interest in directing Iron Man and I personally would love to see his take on the character or any superhero character to be honest. However he clearly did not like BvS calling it a piece of $hit and that might not endear him to the guys in charge at BvS.
