She is so needy, whinny, clingy, annoying and she isn't even wise on her own two feet. This episode about being sad because her sister wants to spend time with her girlfriend just proves it. Oh! She is also picky about her potential boyfriends.

Sometimes I feel that Kara and Alex are just a little too enmeshed. When Alex was ready to bail on her fledgling relationship because she thought she couldn't afford to not spend all her attention on keeping Kara safe I wanted to scream. A little separation and independence for both women (from each other) would be a good thing IMO.
