Nothing wrong with Wally, they just brought him on too early. Besides, as long as Barry "needs" team flash, he isn't that special.

Remember that WB are pretty much pretending that they are critically acclaimed hence why they kept on making them.
As for Superman remember he's supposedly "dead" right now so that might be why.
Not saying it makes sense but don't expect rationality from the people at WB.

The producers of the DCEU are not concerned about a tv show on a C level network.
The philosophy has changed. That is why Superman was allowed on SG.

they've already done it with Arrow and the main Suicide Squad characters Amanda Waller and Deadshot. Also were told they are not allowed to use Harley Quinn again. It's more likly with the DCEU not being critically acclaimed that they don't want the comparison to hurt the movie.

i suspect when the Flash movie comes out staring a different Barry Allen the show will either retire or kill of their Barry and Wally will become the title Flash.

Barry is very fast. Just like Wally, Jesse, Jay, and Thawne. Also Trajectory, Savitar, and Zoom.

It wouldn't bother me if we were five seasons in and Barry was mentoring him to take some of the work load so he could raise a family or deal w an insurgence of bad guys or something, but to being him in so early takes away from the specialness of Barry. They should've waited.

Just because he works in the comics and is cannon isn't a very good point that he has to be in the tv show. I mean Krypto the super dog is cannon in the comics and has been around for a long time, but if he all of the sudden showed up on Supergirl as a flying dog from Krypton, that would also be stupid.

Sorry ozzy555, Kid Flash is D.C. canon! He's been around for over 50 yrs. C/d they use him (and Jessie Quick) less, like in Smallville w/ Impulse or Supergirl, yes. He c/d be some runaway or homeless kid who just got caught-up in Stein's nuclear reactor shock wave.
