"Part of the way I think these films stop being fresh (these films being franchise comic book movies) is when you find yourself making essentially a television series with $200 million episodes where youre literally just picking up where the last one left off and youre making a mini-series. Then, its impossible to do something fresh. Meaning essentially youre just a director on the 14th episode of a television show picking up where the last one left off and people are going to be really startled by any discontinuity or changes."

When MCU fanboys throw childish tantrums directed at anybody who says anything bad about their precious MCU films, that is the definition of childish. Whether or not MCU is childish is irrelevant, the MCU fan base can be a perfect example of a fan base full of cry babies.
