@thebriks, Disney's mission is to be a leader in the production of (for profit) entertainment and content. That is partly why they make movies. The IMDb's mission is to be the worlds most trusted source of movie, TV, and celebrity contents and making that information available to as wide an audience as possible. Maintaining a message board does not necessarily satisfy that mission, and hence, they should not be obligated to support that.

Any intelligent person can tell you that there is a conflict of interest with Amazon Studios here, as well as pressure from other studios. What's going on here is extremely shady and the sort of thing anti-trust needs to crack down on.

I never said that these message boards should be shut down for any reason, I merely pointed that you are part of the reason it is being shut down. I'd like the message boards to stay active because it cracks me up how many trolls their are on here.

Thanks for having sense, you seem to be one of the few here that does. The thing that the majority of these trolls don't get is that IMDb doesn't need a reason to close the forums, and they certainly don't owe us anything. They offered a free service, with terms and conditions, and people abused the service.

Hopefully, people see through what is going on and fight back with boycotts of theaters and Amazon. We can only pray.
