<p dir="auto">Strong was speaking in his natural accent.  It was very similar to when he and Firth were in Fever Pitch together.</p>

<p dir="auto">Ok, if he was going for a Welsh accent and didn't quite nail it, that makes sense, and thanks for the plausible explanation. I'm quite sure he didn't speak in his natural accent, though, as that would be neutral British English, which he used throughout the interviews in the Blu-ray extras.</p>

<p dir="auto">It apparently was supposed to be Welsh (a really difficult accent to nail down) because Arthurian legend/Myrddin are of Welsh origin.</p>

<p dir="auto">He's an actor. He was acting. That's what they do. What's his natural dialect? I have no idea. Do you? Maybe he wasn't acting. SLJ spoke with an exaggerated lisp. What does that mean? He was acting. Maybe. It is a comedic parody. If Strong was speaking with anything other than his own, original tongue, it was absolutely intentional, and in full following with the theme of the movie.<br />
Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.</p>
