It hardly inspires faith in WB/DC for the Flash project given how many directors and scripts they have gone through so far. Still at least it does indicate that they realise that the other scripts were not up to scratch but I really don't think that WB/DC know what to do with the DCEU at the moment with announcements made for a new film every time they believe that the general audience is showing a slight bit of interest in a character.

This re-write business as well as what Ben A put out recently about things possibly not moving forward (then retracting or 'clarifying' that).
This could be nothing too serious, but given what they've produced over the past 4 years, odds are it's not a good thing, methinks.

To be fair, the article Andre was talking about, the director was taking direct jabs at the convoluted X-Men universe, not the MCU.

Andre made a video saying that the director of Logan trashed the MCU for making continuity movies knowing damn well DCEU is doing the same which I believe he indirectly criticized.

Then there are vague rumors of problems. Actors, script, writers something is a little off.
Evidence of larger systemic problems (like this news for The Flash)
A teaser trailer hits, and hopes are further crushed as it looks like more of the same meh.
Assurances that "things are being fixed" are falling on ears that have heard all this before.
Theatrical trailer all but completely confirms that this movie will blow.
Word from early viewers and reviewers say this movie blows.
The movie is released wide and it blows.
Assurances that a "lot was cut" and will show up in a special edition.
The Special Edition proves that whole "polish a turd" idiom.
