If I wanted to see how comic book characters can get haphazardly tossed into a movie for awkward commercial cross-promotion and see how shoddy camera work can get for a big budget blockbuster I'll be sure to see
Captain 'Merica: Civil Snore
again. That movie WAS boring, and tonally inept.
Standing around all the time and watching Apocalypse just talking rubbish
It's called drama, and the performances were excellent. You need good performances and dramatics to sell the tension and suspense for your action scenes, or no one is going to care about them.
There was almost no "violence" in this movie.
There was tons of violence in
X-Men Apocalypse
. TONS. It was an extremely violent superhero movie.
Even the Wolverine scenes were bloodless.
No, they weren't, there was blood flying around everywhere. Did you even watch the movie?
They wanted a Cameo, and this was cheap as hell.
It tied in perfectly with the film and served the plot without breaking the pacing whatsoever (something your Captain America movie could have used) and served as foreshadowing for Jean Grey's character arc as well. I don't see how a superfluous scene could have worked any better in this movie, it was sharply crafted.
Plot hole: Mystique captured Wolverine in the last movie, and handed him over to experiment with?
That is not a plot hole. I'm not even sure what you're trying to say here, but it's not a plot hole.
Has Psylocke said more than 2 sentences?
Psylocke was the one major character in this that could have used more development, she did get left out in the cold, we could have at least known what her motivations were (if they were revealed in some form, I missed it) but let's face it; it was not necessary to the story of this movie at all that it go into depth about Psylocke. She was the henchmen of a God and a deadly warrior, that's really all we needed to know, and there were SO MANY other characters who got exploration instead, more important characters.
I think that besides agreeing a little bit about Psylocke that I disagree with your post wholeheartedly, it almost sounds like you didn't see the movie, you're that far off center.

This flick is boring as hell. Standing around all the time and watching Apocalypse just talking rubbish is lame as hell.
There was almost no "violence" in this movie. Even the Wolverine scenes were bloodless. PG13 They wanted a Cameo, and this was cheap as hell.
Plot hole: Mystique captured Wolverine in the last movie, and handed him over to experiment with? Sure.
This movie is far away from being a masterpiece. It's boring, nothing really happens, mutants underused and boring. Has Psylocke said more than 2 sentences?
If you want to see how well comic book characters can work on screen, watch Captain America: Civil War instead.

This movie is honestly in the top ten. Let's leave it at that because things like the Captain America Trilogy, the Avenger films, Spider-Man 2, X2, etc. simply are better
