I have a feeling that the sex scene from the promo is right at the beginning of the hour and it all actually turns out to be a dream that Chloe's having. The kiss is real but Chloe has a dream about what could have happened after. There is a shot of what looks like Chloe waking up in the promo which I think is related. Just a theory though.
