Love the different options they can go with this storyline!
A nice parallel to Mace coming clean as a fraud and Coulson wanting him to keep it up. LMayD can go through wondering if she's always been a fraud and never knew it. She'll suspect that SHIELD enhanced her without her knowledge or something.
I mean, May isn't about to go to Simmons and say "hey it appears I'm metal on the inside - can you have a look?" - she's much more likely to try to figure it out on her own.
I like the subtle (and maybe even "not really") tie ins with Luke Cage. Both with the exploding bullets and the enhancement program.
