Batman: It's okay. I'm a friend of your son.
Martha: I figured. The cape.
I think it's actually funnier in hindsight. If you think about it, Batman is the only member of the League to actually know Superman and vice-versa before his "death". Therefore, all the ones that didn't know Superman beforehand, are the ones that don't wear capes. I think this is a funny little detail which probably wasn't even intentional.

Most likely. Now for the DCEU, humor like that would be perfectly suitable and you'd think easy to write in?
Whatever you are, be a good one.

But it turned into the most cringiest movie experience i ever had.
I agree. It's ironic how, despite that movie being a comedy, or at least David Ayer being forced to make it a comedy, BvS was the funnier movie.
Honestly, the Screen Junkie's Bucky Barnes from The Roast Of Captain America summed it up perfectly.
Suicide Squad, it was supposed to be funny like
Guardians of The Galaxy
, but it got about as many laughs as
Twelve Years A Slave
.

Yeah. I dont remember anyone laughing when watching suicide squad either.
At the beginning sure, some forced laughs because they still had hope. But it turned into the most cringiest movie experience i ever had.

In my theatre that was actually the only time they weren't talking throughout. Might have had something to do with being after the warehouse fight.
But still, it got more laughs than Suicide Squad.

I remember sitting in the cinema
and when this scene came, the theater was laughing for the first time. you could literally feel it was the levity everyone was waiting for.
But you could also feel how everyone realized that something like this should have happend during the movie a few times and not almost at the end, when everyone already made up their minds that this movie is a huge disappointment
