<p dir="auto">Although set in WW1, it appears they're using the storyline from Gods and Mortals for this film since Ares was the main villain that story.<br />
Or is it a combination of a few stories from the comics for this film?</p>

<p dir="auto">I haven't heard anything about which storylines are involved but I would guess they're using elements of several, as they did with MoS and BvS (not sure what they did with SS, it's not a title I read).<br />
