These bad DCEU movies are seriously having people scramble to create Razzie categories across the board. "Worst Villain" is another I've seen mentioned.

I'd say it was the fault of the studio for making such unnecessary drastic changes to David Ayer's cut of the movie.

Was it the editors fault or the fault of the trailer company that cut the movie together?

Good idea! Definitely, the worst editing that I ever saw.

If this got an "award" for worst editing then it shouldn't actually go to those that edited the movie though it should go to the studio that decided to try and completely change the movie after it was already filmed.
There's only so much an editor can do if they don't have the footage.
In reality, the people editing this movie did a fairly fantastic job considering the task they were given.
Don't get me wrong, the movie was a disjointed mess but that's on the studio and their ludicrous ideas about how to make this movie.
