Geez man, you just see rainbows and sunshines when you think about these films, don't you. I've never seen anyone praise a film series as much as you do. The scores for these films are hardly memorable. John Powell's score for X3 is probably the best of the bunch. Definitely better than the film it was attached to. Regardless, to call any of the scores for these films the best since John William's Superman score is ridiculous.
Take off the sunglasses for a while and try to be a little more objective, if you're able.

Superman
back in the 70's (which in my mind is still the king). Some folks might endorse Hans Zimmer's scores for Christoper Nolan's
Batman
trilogy but I found them to be rather bland.
I think Beltrami's work for The Wolverine is moody, emotional and underrated.
Yes, this is probably my favourite of the X-Men movies right here. It has a real feeling of the loneliness that Wolverine is going through in the movie, it mirrors that feeling so well, while being strong and powerful and heroic at the same time.

soundtrack is a really good endeavour that fits the character nicely and never gained the fame that it should have.
I especially love the use of Japanese drums (Taiko Drums) in segments of the soundtrack, they're so epic! They fit Wolverine to a tee as well, like at this moment in the score right here;

The track called "Logan's Run" from the soundtrack is saturated front-to-finish with those taiko drums too, it's excellent.
As for
X-Men Apocalypse
specifically, I love the theme music for En Sabah Nur that opens the movie, it's one of the best uses of an orchestral choir I've heard in years. You can really feel the awesome power that is at Apocalypse's command and the immense danger he represents;

This was absolute cream coming out of theatre speakers (and sound terrific booming from a decent home stereo system too). For an editor John Ottman sure does one hell of a fine soundtrack! But yeah I think Marco Beltrami's score for
The Wolverine
is my favourite, it fits (and sets) the mood for that movie perfectly and the music is top notch.

I think Michael Kamen's score for the first film is really underrated. It's unique and memorable.
Ottman's scores are fantastic and I think Beltrami's work for The Wolverine is moody, emotional and underrated. The score for the third film by John Powell eclipses the film itself. I wish the score had a better movie to accompany it.
