I've watched Japanese and Hong Kong films with American 'actors' that can barely speak coherently since they aren't actual actors. Just locals Europeans that work cheap. They aren't dropping money on a real actor if the target audience can't tell how bad the english lines are being delivered. This is the same thing.

OP was griping that if anyone were making Murican shows with furriners speaking badly accented Murican we'd ALL be bitching. OP is a liar and just wants to look superior to everyone else. It's a common phony tactic which makes them FEEL superior to the directors, writers, producers, casting director, and to all the other posters that will ever read it.
It's a nauseating cheap ploy.
Folks if you want to feel special, go out and do something interesting and special. Read some classic books and think deeply about them. Paint a great painting. Take an amazing trip. Go on an amazing hike. Write a book. DO something that actually makes you INTERESTING instead of coming here to bitch about Katie Cassidy's chin implant (while lying about being a board-certified plastic surgeon!!!) or going to any other discussion board and telling everyone how stupid they are for liking the movie it's discussing.
Cheap ploys. Or at least go to some board that I DON'T go to. My point in exposing people who pull cheap ploys like lying about how "unbearable" it was to listen to Michael Emerson's bad Dutch. Just die.

Well, this is your most pathetic lie of all. This very show has American actors speaking foreign languages and mispronouncing words, and no one but you is bitching, but I suppose you dumbass name-calling non-"Muricans" can't figure that much out. Watch whom you're calling dumbass, because the biggest dumbass here is the one you see in the mirror every day.
We call it a "first world problem".

Every time there's a TV show that professes to offer us a character who speaks a foreign language, we have to endure the self-important jerks who drop in to critique the pathetic actors' attempts to deliver their lines in a foreign language.
On the Arrow board we had an idiot telling us how horrible Celina Jade was, with her inability to speak "Chinese" (he meant Mandarin) and how offended he was that the other restaurant worker claimed his attacker must have been Chinese as he spoke with a perfect accent. Oh yeah, and how the poster and his family were rolling on the floor guffawing about it. By that he meant, of course, that grandma came to the U.S. in 1948 and the poster was third generation and didn't speak a drop of Mandarin but he felt oh so important criticizing a actressborn, raised, and educated in Hong Kong, a movie and TV star in Chinafor her "incomprehensible" accent.
Two years after that, on the Person of Interest board, we had an idiot claiming to be Dutch criticizing Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel for their pathetic version of Dutch. Their characters had adopted a dog who only took orders in Dutch. When you give a dog orders, those orders are almost always single syllables. "Zit! Staan!" There was nothing in their bad Dutch to warrant the poster's claim that he had to read the subtitles to understand, or to drive him from the room because "It all sounded like German." Yes, the idiot actually said this.
I speak some Mandarin, and I speak fluent Dutch, and I'm always told I have an excellent accent in either. Dutch vowels are not exactly homophonic with American but there is no way you can screw up "Zit" that badly. You ridiculous self-styled experts have no reason to come here and post this sht, but if it's the only way you can feel superior to the actors, or to anything, I guess you have to do it.
Instead of ragging on actors trying to speak your or anyone else's language, why not try giving them a little credit for learning their lines in a foreign language?
If a foreign made movie had an American character with a heavy french accent mispronouncing words, Americans would be complaining
And the next time you want to bitch about "Murica", try remembering that these shows are generally produced by Canadians and half the actors are Canadians.
