Actually the actress that's rumoured to be playing Magik, Anya Taylor-Joy, would have made a great Scarlet Witch as well! I'd much rather see her as Magik though, Magik is awesome.

I would like to see Bryan Singer's version of Wanda Maximoff. I hope it's as fun as Evan Peter's Quicksilver.
But if Magik is going to be in New Mutants, then is there a need for Wanda? I doubt this will happen.

It could be that it's the Scarlet Witch's alternate, Limbo self.
I think that's what they're doing with Storm. It won't be Storm from
X-Men Apocalypse
(same actress though), but the sorceress version of her from Limbo. That's a pure guess on my part with no evidence to support it, but Storm's sorceress alter played a pretty big role in Magik's character development in the comics.
