Suicide squad came closest to a team vs boss battle. Sadly the battle and movie were awful. But at least Dc have the idea of making the whole team fight as one. Unlike marvel where the three main heroes have one on ones with the big bad.

I'm actually looking forward to a Justice League vs Steppenwolf fight and not 1 v 1's. I want to see them fight together, as a team and I want to see an actual fight, not just throwing each other around. I think that superhero movies haven't really delivered on the big boss battles so far. The Doomsday fight had some pretty cool moments though.

Interesting. Her mother has been confirmed. So who knows. They may do some Easter eggs for Highfather. Her mother could just be in the opening battle which rumour has it will show the first attempt by forces of Apokalips to take earth and Themyscira, along with Atlantis and the human army's mother boxes. We have a GL cameo confirmed too so that may also build on New Genisis and other worlds. With rumours of John Cleese being a possible voice actor for Highfather if not that other character forget his name linked to Deathstroke.

I'm a broken record on this but I still feel it would be awesome if Wonder Woman was connected to New Genesis and she fights the Female Furies revealed to be based somehow on her ancestors, the original Amazons.
If she is even somehow the daughter of Highfather (and therefore adoptive sister of Orion) she would be linked to Darkseid and from there to Steppenwolf so that would make it like she's dealing with her pantheon.

I think the Steppenwolf vs Wonder Woman should be the most interesting fact because Steppenwolf killed an alternate earth version of Wonder Woman in the comics.

Steppenwolf is Darkseid's uncle, from what I have read on the DC Wiki. Darkseid is basically the Thanos of DC Comics and pretty much the archenemy of the Justice League. I think you should do some research on this franchise as it will make it a tad bit more easier to understand.

Seriously I have no idea who the hell Steppenwolf is and only have a vague idea who Aquaman is or Cyborg or even who Wonder Woman and Cyborg is. I have of course caught Justice League characters in the occasional cartoon over the years but this is going to be an issue that a lot of people are going to have with Justice League they will only have a vague knowledge of the characters if any at all. Pert of rushing the DCEU I guess but I do hope that we get a bit more than a top trump like card with a bit of graphite as an introduction to characters like what they did with SS. With zero investment in these characters should I even care if they die fighting this Steppenwolf fellow?
