Oscar Isaac and Bryan Singer did a very good job composing this shot/scene. It heralds back to En Sabah Nur's origins in a subtle, visual way, and foretells of his fortress to come. The pyramid has always stood for a symbol of Divine Providence, and for the Eye of Providence. It's no surprise that Apocalypse would usurp such beliefs (and stances) for his own ends.</p>
