Everyone was sort of miscasted. Stickand Elektra should have been other people. The villains were well done. Only some of the fights were good.

I thought that the movie lacked in these areas

1. Special Effects
2. Writing
3. Acting
   The three main components of a film, basically.

For me, the movie is a huge letdown for two primary reasons.

1. The magic.
2. Elektra could see.
   That said, it's an entertaining movie, but honestly they could have put any name to it and it wouldn't have made a difference, other than making it less popular maybe (wouldn't pull in the fans of the Elektra comic).

i really loved this moviei personally dont see why everyone hated.i think it cud have been waaaaaaaaay more violent as that is that is the nature of elektra but i thought i was a good moviebetter than daredevil.i dont get it wen ppl start these forums like catwoman vs elektraelektra was fantastic no where near is bad as catwoman.

Thank you Thornspike for your answer, i have noticed that the DC fans think that their movies will somehow top Marvel, but Marvel has one advantage, they have been doing this longer than DC and have more experience. Personally i like both Marvel and DC movies despite their flaws, and i don't pre-judge movies until their out and i have seen them too, i bet your the same in a way.

It's because the DC people feel that their movies will taste better if Marvel movies are undermined. This is unchangeable unless earth is attacked by aliens.

i just want to know why all the hate for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2 before its even out, don't pre-judge a film before its out,
the trailers have given very little away, unlike some trailers.
the only 2 things the trailers HAVE given away is
1- Groot is a teenager
2- Mantis is in the movie
thats it
so give the movie a chance before sh#tting all over it, before its even out
Marvel has a good track record for their movies thus far except for maybe IRON MAN 3 cause they ruined the mandarin for the fans.
so wait for the movie to come out then whinge and complain to your hearts desire.

I just saw this on Cinemax recently and I really loved it, I'm not a huge comic book fan but I liked the way they portrayed Wonder Woman in this movie and the story.

Maybe because its simply not good.

I have to agree. The Misandry is what really bugs me. In George Perez version didn't have Wonder Woman acting like such a bitch. Or Treating Steve Trevor like Sh!t. If this a Wonder Woman live action movie would look like. I sure as hell wouldn't want to see it. Frankly I thought Superman Doomsday was better than this. Sure when they make Super-heroes movies they do wind up changing something. But what matters is if they keep to the core of the character. And in this I don't think they did. That's pretty bad coming from Bruce Timm.
