SS was very close being a batman & robin desaster. It was less enjoyable than Batman & Robin, because that movie was laughably bad. But it atleat had better actors. Storywise and the excecution of SS was just as bad as Batman & Robin. It was shockingly and facepalmingly bad, not laughably bad. That makes it even worse for me.
Now hearing that Ayer will be in charge of a movie with Poison Ivy, Catwoman and Harley. Man, i feel uncomfortable. He cant handle many characters, proven in SS. He cant direct Comic book movies, proven by SS. He cant bring anything new, engaging, thrilling to this genre, proven by SS.
Why on earth would you give this man another job for your universe?
it will be the first movie i will not watch from DC, thats for sure. JL, WW, im looking forward to these. Any Ayer movie is a nogo until he proves me wrong.

Ayer's and Robbie are the producers on this project. So since WB doesn't have to flip the entire bill, they don't care who makes the film.
And it's all about the money. As long as it makes money that's all they care about.
