I liked it but wouldn't say that I loved it. I liked it more than the Logan trailer but didn't love it like I did the GOTGV2 trailer.
I like Tony being a bit of a mentor to Peter as I think those two actors have great chemistry together. I laughed at the scene where Peter thought he was getting a hug because it just seemed to gel nicely with the way these two characters are interacting with each other. I do think Peter will rebel against Tony at some point which you saw in the trailer. My biggest complaint was during the bank robbery scene where he just catches the dudes fist and tosses him away. I'm like, wait was that supposed to knock him out? I also wasn't a fan of Ned finding out Peter was Spidey in the trailer. Perfectly fine with it being in the film but not a huge fan of it being in he first trailer. I felt it showed too much in that regard.
But like I said I liked it but didn't love it. I am looking forward to Michael Keaton's performance. Hopefully they don't kill him off and that he's actually an interesting villain. The MCU can't rely on Loki much longer.

I liked it. I thought it had a good vibe about it, it's not the drastic departure that I was afraid of it being. My biggest qualm remains that Tony is Peter's "mentor". Hopefully that's not a big deal in the movie, but we'll see. Peter Parker's mentor should just be his mind's approximation of what he thinks Uncle Ben would want him to do. Which leads him into making really childish mistakes but also epic heroic comebacks. A lot of what's endearing about Spider-Man is how, for better or worse, he's his own man. And he has been since he was a kid because there was never really anyone there to guide him who knew exactly what he was going through. He had Aunt May for moral support, but he had to protect her from knowing that he was Spider-Man. He had role models that he looked up to, he had his own personal heroes. But he was isolated from them, and in his formative years this really created the hero who he is today.

There's probably about 200,000 likes combined from various trailers. Of course 199,999 of those were paid shills.

I actually liked the trailer as well. All it had to do was get me excited for the movie, and it did. Job well done, Sony. Shame they couldn't do the same with 'Ghostbusters' (2016).

I just saw it yesterday for the first time. Can't say it caught my attention like the Amazing Spider-Man trailer and it definitely didn't move me like the Toby McGuire 1st Spider-Man trailer. Fair or unfair, it has a lot to live up to. Needs more focus and cohesion. Hopefully the 2nd trailer will be better.
