I would love to see Supergirl encountering Batgirl at least once.

between the Multiverse and Time Travel now being 'things'; Birds of Prey or some variation of them would be a great thing to revisit

and with 'every project a different earth' they could probably even get some alumni from the 2002 series.

Oooor they could use the actual Batwoman, who is both badass and gay. That oughta keep most people happy.
You're suffering from delusions of adequacy.

in keeping with the whole "women are strong!" theme, i think they should just have an episode set in gotham in which Kara has a reporting gig with Bryanna Wayne, CEO of Wayne industries. while she is in gotham, something like a terror attack happens and she goes in as super girl to take the bad guys on. when she arrives she gets to see a woman dressed in lead-lined bat themed armor taking out super powered aliens that turn out to work for intergang.
Kara then goes "woah, so youre the Batwoman Kal El told me of!"(referencing the whole "my cousin worked with a vigilante" bit)
so in this universe there never was a BatMAN but a Batwoman.
