<p dir="auto">I don't see how they can sustain the series by having each film be a different year in high school. It almost looks like two different films high school musical and then a super hero movie. They need to ditch the high school setting after this movie. It's not universal relatable.</p>

<p dir="auto">Marvel has stated they want to run the series like the Harry Potter movies with each school year being a different movie. They don't have to keep to a real world timeline. So 2-3 years real time can be one marvel time. Some of the Harry Potter has 2 years in between them yet the movies were one year a part.</p>

<p dir="auto">Pete is 16 in this film. The next film comes out in about 2/3 years. The passage of time in the MCU is roughly equivalent with real time. Do the math and tell me if Pete will still be high school in the MCU Spider-Man sequel.<br />
