How did it accomplish anything? Prometheus forced Oliver's hand
by nabbing Felicity's Cop BF.
Evelyn merely dished some infoas if Prometheus didn't already know this stuff, or couldn't have learned this over the 4 years of stalking Oliver.

She also revealed herself for no reason. Prometheus didn't kill Oliver and as skilled as he is he would have had no trouble with Wild Dog.
I guess there are some things she would know that he wouldn't like where Diggle hid his wife and son.
