Thing is they do especially in the comics and cartoons, Flash has been seen eating a chocolate/energy bar whilst superspeeding which at the speed they run should fly out of the wrapper the moment they open it, hell when Barry moved back in with Joe in S1 his suitcase's should have flown open the moment he started running with them or atleast the handle should have been ripped off.

I'm willing to accept the speedforce can be extended to someone he is touching. But by that logic, you'd think Barry or Jay could run with a teacup on their heads and just say Hey, it's speedforce magic.
I know Jay was created in the early 1940's and it was just to give him a look reminiscent of Hermes/Mercury, but eventually logic catches up with questionable character design.

I'm more curious as to how the Flash can carry people at mach 2, stop on a literal dime, and not have their organs and fluids go shooting out of their bodies.
I'm willing to buy that the speedforce gives him some sort of immunity to inertia, but how does that apply to someone he's carrying?

I would so high-five DC if they make her cleavage window the running gag it's long been in the comics.

The wings continue through the helmet into sockets drilled into his scalp.
Actually, aerodynamics would explain it. If he's leaning forward at all when he runs, a natural posture, the wind would push it onto his head. He would have to be leaning his head back or run into an updraft for the air to flow properly to push the hat off his head, neither of which is likely at superspeed.
All roads lead to truth if you're willing to travel honestly.

thor doesnt wear the helmet because it would obscure his face and hes an actor, if he was 'real' he would wear a helmet. Its like in medieval films where the hero takes off his helmet, in real life it would be a moronic thing to do

It's all the mysterious Speed Force. Actual physics has nada to do with it :D. Speed force is why Flash can carry people and they immediately don't die from g-force shock or lung collapse, and why he can do stuff like punch through time only going 1500 mph, when humans have gone 36,000mph and bupkus happens.

The electricity emanating from Jay's running induces a magnetic field which helps prevent the helmet from falling off his head.

I don't know. When Thor came to the big screen, they gave him a cool helmet design, but he rarely wears it and it makes some sense. Because unless it has a chinstrap, how could it stay on his head with all the flying he does? It's suspension of disbelief in the comics, but in the movies they went the logical route without ever needing to elaborate. DC, outside of the Christopher Nolan films, they go for looks and override logic. Comics are not quite the real world; you need to translate it to a medium that's more realistic and less exaggerated.

Since a Speedster generates electricity when then run, we can theorize that the metal helmet stays on because of electro magnetic force or extreme static charge (cling)
