First time I watched the suicide squad, I finished it and I was like meh 6\10 at best.
Now I just watched the extended version the movie was more complete. Backstories are more in depth and some of the actions of the characters are becoming more believable.
Ofcourse if you think about the original Joker character no way in hell he will have a sexual or any kind of couple relationship with Harley but it was still fun watching their relationship in this way. They took a different approach and imo it was ok.
Yes there are still lots of unrealistic dialog or scenes that makes you look at the screen and just sigh and say thats stupid. Especially any of the anti heroes can kill the bitch and stop her before pushing that stupid apps button. Deadshot can shot that thing down before she can even attempt. Yes these are the things which makes the movie not great.
But all the haters out there saying this movie is 1 out of 10 or 4 out of 10 are out of their minds.
I gave it a 6 for the theatrical version and 7 for the extended version. If you enjoyed the theatrical one little bit, I recommend you watch the extended version. There are some cool scenes.

Much better!?
The movie was a 5 at its veeery best as a theatrical cut. But i just saw the extended cut and i didnt really feel like it made the movie any better anyway. Sure it had some more dialogue but it was still really crappy dialogue and mostly i didnt even notice anything being extended. I got mostly pissed over that the movie didnt get any better at all because the extended scenes were just as bad as the rest. On top of that, now when i rewatched it, its even clearer to me that its a really bad movie.
I gave it a 5, now i changed it to a 4, but probably deserves a 3.
If Wonder Woman isnt atleast as good as Man of Steel there is nothing to save DCEU for going completely down the drain Which sucks because i was really hoping for it to be good.

Not huge difference but made it more enjoyable for me. Especially Joker and Harley scenes.
The one where Harley chasing Joker with a motor bike and Joker is like not this crazy bitch again was funny to me.

I did not enjoy the theatrical one on any level. theres so few scenes added that I don't think that it'll make much of a difference, but wth I'll give the Suicide Squad another chance.

There were some animation where it showed Harley trying to be sexual with Joker. Joker is only intimate with her when he needs something without feeling nothing for her. When I say intimate like putting both his hands on her face and ask her nicely. I dont know if they ever kissed in the comics.
Batman even said once that he saw Harley one of the worst victims of Joker. Thats why he kind of take it easy with her.

Because its the truth. Read the Comics. Joker never care for Hrley, or have any sexual interest in her. His obssession for Batman is greater.

agreed, OP. I tend to have a major anti-DCEU (and anti-Fox), pro-MCU bias but still found things about the film to enjoy. and if they cut out the crap I found annoying I'll actually
look forward to
a sequel. as far as I'm concerned there's very few 'good' films coming out so I'll take silver screen entertainment where I can get it without complaining except where it's deserved.
if you don't have anything nice to say you're probably a butthole

No, the extendend cut isnt better. Its still an bad edited movie, with some useless new scenes. Even this annoying flickering in some scenes are still there.
