I think the details for the ongoing season storylines will be relatively minor.

It won't the crossovers never have impact on the overall season of the shows. They have too many characters to balance to focus on main stories. Just going to be a "Hey what have you been up to?" thing and them being wowed by Supergirl since they don't know her.

Ehh, tried during the Flash/Supergirl crossover. The characters and feel of the show didn't grab me.
Also the Superman looks corny.
