We already know comic book fans are the worst reviewers. Most, not all, have no idea what makes a good movie or TV show and are just happy to see a comic book character kicking a$$.
Season 1 was "ok" at best. The performances of the actor and actress who played Cottonmouth and Black Mariah were one of the few highlights. If this didn't have Marvel's name attached and the cult following with the Marvel Netflix shows, it wouldn't be sitting at an 8.0/10.
Luke Cage takes continuous gun fire from an assault rifle. He goes back to the barbershop and only has a dozen holes in his hoodie. He takes off his hoodie, revealing a T-Shirt in perfect condition, not even a wrinkle in sight.

I agree partly, it was overrated at first I'll agree on that but as time went on people woke up from their self induced brand Stockholm syndrome to how dull and cancerously dreary and brain numbingly paralytic the show is.

totally agre - so overrated it wasnt even funny. The writing was pretty dire as well. At times the dialoug didnt even seem to match the scene.
-only uneducated minds are not open to any ideas other than their own.
