more so than i felt for BvS TC, which just insulted fans.
The homages to alex Ross art work, mad love, and new 52 inspirations, the clever use of batman, all made me feel at least a true fan is at the helm.
Its still not a good movie, but i could still feel a filmaker trying.

It was obvious David Ayer read the comics.
He just had zero idea how to put them together into a cohesive film that honored the characters and plot-lines.
If you read comic book fans' comments online the majority are idiots. It doesn't prevent them from reading and enjoying well-written and beautifully illustrated comics, though. Can they then go and make a brilliant comic themselves? NOPE
Due to the lack of moderators, trolls can ruin the IMDB message boards. Don't feed them.
