I think it was S02E08, while Chloe and Luci are interviewing the yoga guy at the police station, and Lucifer asks hims "go on, tell me what you want, what you really really want" It had me cracking up

Favourite scene was him playing "Unforgiven" on the piano. Loved it.

The lines in this scene were funny, but honestly, it's Tom's delivery that makes it hilarious.

Loved the last scene at the zombie wedding when Chloe is literally dragging Lucifer away, Lucifer does the, "call me," thing to the bridesmaid, and Chloe lets him smack into a table as a result, his "easy Detective," in reply on the way out! Teehee. He so deserved that.

A favorite I just remembered was an awesome scene that I didn't fully catch at first.
So Dan comes in griping about not being able to get the files because of new HIPPA laws. Lucifer uses that opportunity to give him a gigantic hug and simultaneously let Chloe know he doesn't want to talk about his feelings before walking away. I thought that was it, the whole point. But a few moments later, Lucifer comes back with the files they need. While he was hugging Daniel, he actually stole both his badge and his gun.
That scene definitely shows the always-two-steps-ahead Lucifer that I love so much.

Okay, Maze, look, I have a favor to ask you.
Maze:
That's Lucifer's thing.
Chloe:
I know, but I'll never find a sitter this late. And trick-or-treating is really important to Trixie, Maze. Will you please take her for me?

Sure, I'll take your offspring for a walk.
Chloe:
Well, she's not a dog, but thank you.
Chloe:
Okay, don't let her out of your sight, please check her candy, and take her early, like 3:00.
Maze:
Great. Best after-parties don't start till 3:00 anyway.
Chloe:
Not 3:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m.

Great scene where Lucifer breaks into the vending machine and leaves a hundred dollar bill for a couple of items.

Mom: Not everyone grieves the same way. Lucifer, he's never been one to face his emotions. Instead of looking in, he acts out. You know, a rebellion here, an apple there?

Also loved Chloe & Maze's stare down after the sex swing talk. Chloe's a tough chick.

Tom playing drunk was perfection. So believable.

lollast thing anyone would take seriously, considering the context. I found that whole zombie wedding scene to be funny on so many levels.

I found a bit of black humor in the opening scene when the groom gets shot and the bride, because they're all in zombie makeup, has to shout "this is real"

More dramatic than funny in this episode.
But a homicidal sniper-sociopathy, with moralistic principles that refused to shoot Lucifer was a bit far fetched even for this show.

I liked how after Tom finishes tying one on, and finally takes Chloe's words to heart about talking to someone, that he got super cleaned up to go see Linda. I mean he was about as impeccable as it gets. It really shows how much he was hoping for her approval.
Just to be crushed.
It's so sad, too, that he can't share his pain with Chloe, knowing that she doesn't believe him and in his mind will NEVER be able to understand. I hope that gets rectified soon-ish.

The Trixie and Maze scenes were nice moments.

I've seen him in Suits and Halt and Catch Fire before, didn't like either of the roles, but here he really shows range and depths of his character. I like this vulnerable side of him more than a pesky persona from the first season. And humorous scenes with him are just precious!

Such a good point. DB had some really moving moments last night. I think he's underrated as an actor. He and Mom have great chemistry.

He played a really believable drunk, didn't he? Usually when I'm watching an actor do that, I'm so aware they're actingbut it never even occurred to me that Tom was acting, that's how good he is.

I loved how great Tom did drunk like when he appeared at the crime scene off his face. Hilarious and yet sad.
SO much to love in this episode.

All that you've posted, especially punching Dan in the nose))) Lucifer always stands his ground.
I'd also add to the list dialogues between Mum and A, I'm mesmerized by this woman and I like that A's tender personality doesn't correspondent with his intimidating physical form.
