I dont know if this Guardian thing will work to improve his character dramatically. I think they need to do something else. If you do an image search for Melissa Benoist Mehcad Brooks. Almost every picture you can find with them outside of character looks kind of cool. Hes wearing street clothes, earrings, and sometimes has a goatee. Maybe James needs to have mid-life crisis that turns him into Mehcad Brooks instead of Guardian.

Well, Guardian was cooler than I thought. But I think Daxomite + Bad Boy (turning good), seems like a better match for Kara, than Guardian + Catco Boss.

Mehcad is like Stephen Amell in that there real life personalities are a lot more interesting that what the writers are coming up for characters they play.
