This is a preview of the upcoming issue 12 of the latest carnation of the Lucifer comic.
I think it's interesting for people to see where the tv character came from. I don't find these illustrations to be quite up to their usual level, which is usually exceptional, but this excerpt is great at capturing the kind of humor that Lucifer has in the comic. Lucifer is a bit like the character House was in the way he speaks but couple it with a lot more charm and pure physical magnetism. This preview gives you a taste for Lucifer's perpetual snarky charm. It's one of the things that has made the comic so great.
Oh, and for those Lucifer/Mazikeen fans, you'll like this issue, too. Since Mazikeen is over her grudge and Lucifer's feelings have been "awakened".
