he wasn't well built as Superman and wasn't that imposing. His neckline was too tight, his cape was too round his neck which made him look smaller.

It one of the reasons the film is pretty bad, it's meant to be a sequel taking place 5 years later yet Lois appears to have gotten 8 years younger and they all have cell phones.. lol Maybe before Superman left he gave earth some fast track tech.
