Well they're about to come out with Logan and Deadpool 2 is in the beginning stages. Once they wrap filming on DP2, we will probably have heard what's going to happen with the next X-Men title.

Thats a ridiculous thing to say, in that case since gambit and new mutants has gone very quiet we might aswell say there is a chance they won't be made either, especially if we take quiet as word that something may not be made than those 2 are in the same situation as another X-Men movie
I think the next movie will be in 2019, they will give it a year break like they did X2 to X3 and FC to DOFP

Yeah the next "main team" X-Men movie is in the design stages right now. It'll take place right after the events of
The New Mutants
in the 1990's and feature most of the same characters that were in
X-Men Apocalypse
, plus obviously some new ones. Mister Sinister is almost certainly going to be the chief antagonist of the movie, and Bryan Cranston is rumoured to be playing him (he's been vying hard for the role). It's rumoured that Jennifer Lawrence will not be returning to reprise her role as Mystique.
Bryan Singer is moving his production office to Montreal to begin pre-production work on
X-Men 7
after he completes his post-production work on
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
this winter, around the end of this year. After that we'll start hearing more about it. Bryan Singer is supposedly not directing this next one, he is stepping down from the director's chair although he is the head producer for it and will no doubt have a big say in the story, art direction and casting for it.
