Here we go again.
Matt Nable (Ra's al Ghul) is on Cinemax's drama, Quarry. Most of the people I've talked to agreed they liked Matt as Ra's, but the character suffered from the writting as so many others have.
He does a pretty mean southern accent. The show's about a Vietnam vet coming home and being forced to become an assassin. Nable plays his Captain from Nam and holy christ, he's good, but the finale has one of the most intense single take sequences I've ever seen. So many moving pieces, planes flying by, extras running through the chaos, explosions, flame throwers, firefights, pulled off excelently.
His isn't a big role, but it's important one.
Highly reccomend, with or without Nable. Only 8 episodes.

Terrific show. Fantastic writing. Great unique action scenes. A couple that shouldn't be together that you still root for and one the best season finales ever with unexpected revelations and surprises. Last but not least a jaw dropping 7 minute one shot action sequence featuring multitudes gunbattles, knife fights, people on fire, explosions, giant napalm explosions, headshots and a horrific innocent civilian grenade body ripping killing explosion. Seek this show out at all costs. Nable did excellent work in the season finale.

The action isn't half bad too when it kicks off. There's more than a few great shootouts. Stay tuned.

Watched the first episode. I like it a lot. Very interesting when you like psychological drama.

Thanks for the tip : always great to get them from posters on board whose tastes you can trust
Not sure I'll be able to find it but I will certainly look for it.
I think what was wrong on Arrow was absolutely not Matt Nable's interpretation, rather the way they pictured Ra's.
