One of the best in season 1&2!

Those scenes in the bar were some of the best I can remember. Just so many hilarious things happened, almost too many to count.

Chloe moved in with her mom when she separated from Dan a long time ago. And no, older beach houses in Southern California are not typically large, unless you're mega rich. You can see by the funky interior and the pullout sofa that this is not one of the newer rich and famous type abodes, even though the cheapest cottage you can get in that location right now, if it's in Malibu, is $2 million bucks. There are 2 bedroom, 1300 sq ft places for as much as $7 million there. Depends on how much land there is. It's all in the location, location, location. Even if her place is closer to Santa Monica, it's still going to be worth a small fortune. But it looks like Malibu to me.
Chloe clearly doesn't want to live with her mom. She doesn't trust her with Trixie for one thing (remember the audition situation?), and she doesn't like feeling like she has to be the parent to her mother. I totally understand why, now that she's decided to divorce Dan, she'd want to get on with her own adult life.
Plus, if they were being realistic, Chloe driving from the beach to work every day is crazy. That's like a two-hour drive in traffic. And Lucifer showing up there, all the way from Hollywood, not at all realistic, not that we're going for that, but it just makes more sense if Chloe lives closer to all the action.

It isn't Chloe's house, it belongs to her mother Penelope. Chloe and Trixie moved in when she and Dan separated, while they tried to work things out.

Isn't it established that this is a very big house for a cop's salary? Since her husband is moving out, can't grandmother just move in with the two of them?

Because her mother's going to come back when she's done with the "convention circuit".

I agree,I think this is the best episode this season. Loved every single part of it and damn what and ending and the girls night out. Cannot wait until next week.

It is a funny show. I can't get enough of Lucifer's put downs to Dan. Lite beers and Bachelor reruns. That was top notch. Ha.

I completely agree! This was such a good episode all around from the hilarious dialogue, watching different characters interact, and the plot development. Can't wait to rewatch it!

I loved every single part of this episode. I loved all of Lucifer's lines. Tom Ellis is just perfect for this role. Maze and Chloe bonding for real was a surprise.

oh oops! sorry about that kurt. i think you'll love the ep. the scenes of Linda, Maze, Chloe and the new police lab girl going out and having drinks is superb!

Any episode entitled 'Lady Parts' is certain to get my attention, but no spoilers because I have it recorded to watch tomorrow morning.
