No one knows if he'll be in the movie (then again, I didn't expect him to show up on DoFP or Apocalypse either; he's like the Team Rocket of X-Men).
He may still be dead in the "present-day" timeline since he died at the end of X2. Or maybe not. We don't know how much that movie was affected by Logan's time-traveling. We'll have to see.
