So, Reverse Flash didn't get stuck in the past after Flashpoint? He's the one who returned Barry to present day, then took off with his speed, yet no indications in the following couple of episodes that any of their past with Wells/Thawne has changed.
The vanishing or absence of certain time remnants is something I've been able to explain, which was my initial gripe. (whenever Barry travels back and arrives in the same location as his previous self, like the first time, there is never a remnant because two objects with the same frequency cannot occupy the same space at one time. Others vanish because they had no direct effect on the timeline before they were wiped from existence.)
