I actually like the look of it. It seems at least somewhat original for a comic book movie.
I personally grow tired of cookie cutter comic book movies. I personally don't need to have a joke every other sentence to stay entertained.

One word - Deadpool.

Everyone is saying the trailer is good here comes this beep the second movie was quite good by the way and this will be better if u are fan mcu movies go and watch stupid avenger movies

I honestly think that no matter who the rights were sold to, the franchise would have succeeded given the fact that the effort to make a successful superhero movie was there. Xmen was already a hot commodity and people were already sold on the movie no matter which studio made the movie. I know i was gonna watch the movie no matter what. You cannot just give fox and singer the full credit towards the success of the movie because xmen was very well marketed as a comic book and it was the most popular comic book with a great group of characters. A lot of kids back in the 90s also grew up watching xmen animated and keep in mind that the comics has been around for decades, so the audience of all ages already existed long before the movie was released. Dont get me wrong Singer is a great director, particularly impressed with dofp and possibly his greatest work but the franchise is not doing nearly as well as they should be. Xmen movie should be on par with avengers or if anything ..it should be doing better than avengers.

unfortunately fox really has no idea how to make superhero movies and this movie doesnt look promising at all.
Who re-invented the superhero genre wasn't it Fox, Bryan Singer, and his remarkable cast in the first XMen movie
It was universally welcomed for having moved the goalpost for the quality of action movies featuring heroes from comic books? And it drew a wider demographics than expected Fangirls as well as fanboys! Young and more mature!

Just because they were SUCCESSFUL doesn't mean they were GOOD. Iron Man 2 and 3, Incredible Hulk, Thor 2, and Age of Ultron never got better than mediocre, and Civil War was an overrated Idiot Plot that only worked due to numerous plot holes, extremely contrived situations, and everyone doing the stupidest thing possible at any given moment.
Furthermore, EVERY MCU movie is ultimately the same Bubble Gum Pop day-glo quip fest where everybody steals Spidey's schtick. Anything that doesn't fit that mold gets shoved off to the Netflix Ghetto where the core franchise can pretend it doesn't happen (and as far as the MCU is concerned, AoS and the Netflix shows DON'T exist). Do you think Disney would EVER have made Deadpool? To say nothing of positioning him to be involved with the rest of the franchise going forward (via X-Force)?

Well xmen was a very popular comic book. It was the biggest selling marvel comics in the 90s..the marketing was already paved for singer and fox. No we wont get these types of movies under mcu but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Every superhero movie that came out of marvel has been a success. The 2 avengers went beyond $1 bill the recent civil war also reached 1 billion. Avengers were never as popular as the xmen back then so think about what they can do with the frachise that was already much more popular than the avengers to begin with. Even guardians of the galaxy outperformed all xmen movies except dofp and deadpool.

I doubt the MCU will use them much better since the X-Men movies were the template for MCU movies (Kevin Feige worked on them when he was with Fox). I also doubt we could get the kind of movie seen inthe Logan trailer if it was under the MCU.

I think it looks good and they shouldn't even release another trailer. Trailers give away too much now a days. This gave away just enough.

IMO the film looks like an emotional way to finish hugh jackman's logan in a respectful way and it's keeping the way the previous wolverine films have been

I love what the MCU is doing with its properties, but I agree with you wholeheartedly . This trailer looked great. Easy to do. We have all been burnt by good trailers before, but, from this short trailer, I think that this film looks great

Exactly, like an indie first movie for a not very known character/story, not the expected finale for a loved character that has made a lot of money for the studio. Its a first trailer lets hope its just a first impression.
