The theme of all the shows seems to be what makes a good leader, and they address that question by making this the year of the sidekick. Each show is doing it in their own way, but I appreciate that all the shows are becoming more of a family, not just with physical crossover, but with thematic overlap as well. I like this topic even more, because mentorship and Legacy has always seemed to be a particular focus of DC characters.
Plus, I don't think the Arrowverse has ever been better as a whole, I can honestly say that I don't think any of the shows has been bad, which I couldn't say in the past.

General way of being, maybe in small part due to growing up with superhero tv? Idk but the Arrowverse has earned my optimism this season, which I didn't think would happen with Arrow and I wasn't sure about with Legends.
